ROUTE 68 ATTRACTIONS
Combine a little history with our love for the ride on a Tour D’Ville Bike Tour of historic Danville, but before you go, stop in at Shake-It on Fourth Street for an all-natural protein shake. Come back later for a waffle, biscuit, or hot press sandwich on Main Street at Dry Stack Coffee. Don’t have a bike? No problem! Rent one for the ride and discover some of Kentucky’s famous first moments of bold history or choose the solitary path on the Boyle County Trails system. Stop in at Melton’s Great American Deli for lunch before continuing your adventure. More of a nature buff? Visit the Central Kentucky Wildlife Refuge or Perryville’s Civil War Battlefield for bird and wildlife viewing. If you want the full local experience, stay the night at one of Danville’s excellent hotels, B&Bs or online rentals and spend an evening on Main Street enjoying the local restaurants and night spots.
