The Burn is a three-day, fully-supported bicycle tour of the bourbon distilleries and Thoroughbred horse farms of Kentucky. Explore quiet country roads and quaint communities en route to world-famous bourbon distilleries nestled amongst the rolling bluegrass hills. Join our friends from all 50 states (plus Canada & Europe!) as we “cheers” to another round of riding bikes and drinking bourbon in our great home state of Kentucky.

TROUBADOUR concert series are proud to present a full family concert by Riders in the Sky the Grammy award-winning stars of motion picture, radio, television, and the Grand Ole Opry. Join Ranger Doug, Too Slim, Woody Paul, and Joey, the CowPolka King as they celebrate 47 years together, 30 years of the Troubadour Concert Series, and introduce songs from their brand new album, THROW A SADDLE ON A STAR.

Following the variety show is the Halloween Parade featuring floats, costumed characters, and even more performance groups. The festivities culminate with the annual Thriller reenactment where several hundred zombies will dance, dawdle and drag themselves down Main Street to the classic Michael Jackson tune. Pedestrians can watch all along the parade route.

PRHBTN is an annual celebration of art forms that have been criminalized, marginalized, and under-appreciated in the mainstream, featuring public murals alongside an exhibition of street art works in a space that complements the raw, powerful nature of the message and artistry of each piece.

Celebrate Latin American art and culture in the heart of downtown Lexington at the Festival Latino de Lexington! With live music, dance, visual arts and authentic cuisine, there is plenty to explore and enjoy over this two-day event. Friday night is tropical night and will include authentic Latino foods, live music and dancing. The festival is presented by Lexington Parks & Recreation and the Foundation for Latin American and Latino Culture and Arts.

Crave is back in action this August for its 10th Anniversary! An epic festival of food and live music right here in good old Lexington, Kentucky. Seriously, y'all; it's epic. There are over 40 food restaurants, chefs, food trucks, craft beer & cocktails, kids stuff, a car show and 10 musical acts performing over two days. Parking is free and it's only 10 bucks to get in. Kids 10 and under are free. Located at the Bluegrass Fairgrounds at Masterson Station Park.

The Woodland Art Fair is one of Central Kentucky's largest free cultural events with an average attendance of more than 70,000 people. With food and drink, musical performances throughout the weekend, and nearly 200 of the nation's finest artists, the Woodland Art Fair has something for everyone!

Ballet Under the Stars allows the community to experience a night of professional ballet in the unique setting of Woodland Park.

SoulFeast Week is a ten-day celebration of Black culinary culture highlighting restaurants, farmers, and chefs in Central Kentucky. Through educational exhibits, curated experiences, and enjoying great food, SoulFeast Week is an opportunity for Kentuckians of all races and backgrounds to support Black businesses by putting their money where their mouths are, literally.

Beginning in February of 2011, the Lexington Film League has proudly hosted a non-profit festival in honor of Harry Dean Stanton in the state where he was born. Begun in an effort to both celebrate the diverse film work of this legendary cinematic icon and remind the community of his Kentucky roots, the annual festival utilizes various venues throughout downtown Lexington for screenings, speakers, concerts, and Harry Dean Stanton related events.

Lexington Burger Week will feature $7, one-of-a-kind burgers at participating restaurants across the city! Each restaurant will create a special burger that is not on the regular menu. Participating chefs once again try to create the most unique burgers in town. Enjoy unique burgers at locations in the Lexington area! Check the website for participating locations. This is the best week of the year!

Attendance was over 20,000 in 2023. This annual event will be held indoors at the Central Bank Center.

There’s fun for the whole family at the Southland Street Fair, presented by Traditional Bank. Saturday, June 10 from 3 – 8 pm.The fair features food, entertainment, local vendors and more. Located at the corner of Southland Drive and Rosemont Garden in Lexington.

Featuring the best in bluegrass music, the event is organized by Sam Karr and Rick Greene, organizers of the IBMA award-winning SamJam Bluegrass Festival in Piketon, Ohio, and the 2024 show will mark the second bluegrass festival at the Kentucky Horse Park since the Festival of the Bluegrass was discontinued.

Both experiences include all the incredible things that make BreyerFest the equine event of the year - live horse demonstrations, meet and greets with horses and their owners, workshops, seminars, contests, model horse shows, exclusive models, the Celebration of Horses evening show, and shopping galore!

The Tahlsound Concert Series is a summer-long concert series that takes place on the lawn behind Oleika Temple on the last Sunday of each month. The festival features Lexington musicians, bands, artists, chefs, and brewers.

The Central Kentucky Home + Garden Show is a vibrant marketplace where you can shop for home-related products and services, experience stunning displays to help inspire your next home project, connect with industry experts, and enjoy informative presentations from renowned local and international home professionals.

Weekly showcase in Downtown Lexington from April to October showcasing regional musical talent, beverages, food, and art.

Lexington Comic & Toy Convention will take place March 7-10, 2024 in Lexington, KY at the Central Bank Center. LCTC is Lexington's largest gathering of all things geeky! The convention features celebrities of film and TV, comics, art, music, and more.

During Lexington Pizza Week two unique, off-menu slices or small pizzas will be featured for $6 at participating restaurants. Each location will feature a meat option and a vegetarian option. Many locations have a gluten-free crust option (additional charge).
